LABEL PROFILE
Midhir artists cover a relatively wide range of the sonic spectrum but are united by a common avante-garde view and a unique artistic outlook. Formed as an extreme metal label in 2004 we have recently, unapologetically taken the route of opening our roster to new and more experimental artists that carry the same Luciferian passion as our more traditional acts. We are not interested in bucking trends or falling into the trap of releasing mediocre pagan folk metal or satanic black metal. Instead we look for the spirit of adversity in artists that challenge genre boundaries and excell at their art. This will become more apparent as the label develops, until then we salute those brave individuals who continue to support the label and our online store/mailorder. We are always on the lookout for artists that share our vision. Artists and bands wishing to collaborate with us in the future can get in touch with us via email at info @ midhirrecords.com. Please bear in mind that, as ever, we are looking for a few extraordinary projects rather than to saturate our roster with lack-lustre pseudo-commercial pap. Also note, we do not accept MP3 submissions by email, any unsolicited email containing mp3s will be immediately deleted. Links to sound files are not acceptable as demo submissions. For security reasons we cannot publish the address of the label on the website but we will gladly disclose it to those wishing to submit their wares.
